Prepare your artwork for clean, professional stitching

Minimum Sizes

• Text height: Minimum 0.25″ (6.35 mm)

• Line thickness: Minimum 0.05″ (1.27 mm)

• Shape thickness:0.05″–0.5″ (1.27–12.7 mm)

• Thin or tiny details may be automatically thickened during digitization.

Color Rules

• Up to 6 thread colors per design

• Use solid, contrasting colors

• Avoid gradients, shading, blends — thread cannot reproduce them

Negative Space

• Keep clear separations between elements

• Avoid tiny gaps — they may close during stitching

Images

• Use bold shapes and simple outlines

• Avoid photos, complex illustrations, thin repeating patterns

Text Requirements

• Fonts must be ≥ 0.25″ tall

• Choose medium‑to‑thick strokes

• Avoid thin scripts or delicate serifs

Line Thickness

• All lines must be ≥ 0.05″

• Avoid distressed textures or ultra‑fine lines

Detail Simplification

• Remove tiny decorative elements

• Simplify shapes for clean stitching

Backgrounds

• Upload designs with transparent backgrounds

• Avoid solid or photographic backgrounds

File Quality

• Use high‑resolution files (300 DPI or 1200×675 px minimum)

• Ensure clear spacing between letters

Best Practice

• Order a sample to confirm final stitching quality
